Busway and Our Bad Attitudes

We have a mass transit rapid system call Busway (from bus way, bus have priviledge to drive on its/own way), operated by transjakarta corporation. As a new mass transport, this transport is being polemic at beginning. Yes, the build of busway project i scaused a long traffic jam in many area of jakarta.

Jakarta, the big and dense city, with minimum good public facility have to strugle with its citizen increase and increase. So, a good mass rapid transportation is a must. We have a busway now. Its a good start. But we see on many palce, bus way is not only BUSWAY's way, but every body way. They may be city car, bus, motorcycle, and all private car. Its become a question, whats is bus way for? If anybody can driven by, and no punishment will come.

save Our River

After some East and Central Java region have been swap by Bengawan Solo River, we nedd to re-think about river management in Indonesia. Yes, Indonesia, a tropical country with tropical forest and river, with high rain debit, must have high knowledment about how to make our nature safe.

Bengawan Solo, the longest river in Indonesia, from wonogiri to Gresik Surabaya. To safe bengawan solo is about safe people from wonogiri to surabaya, so a plan is about management all section of bengawan solo, not partial management. Water is transported from one side to the edge, from higher place to the down.

A Jakarta, with many river groove, have high risk flood because of river and nature mis-management. Did you see, how many river in Jakarta is clean? I think only Kalimalang river is the cleanest river arround Jakarta. Lets see ciliwung, the most popular river, because every year send flood to jakarta.

If you see at Manggarai watergate you will see a ton of rubish float and fulling the water, so you can't see anytghing but rubish, waste.

The question is, when Jakarta ready to free from flood. Jakarta, tha capital of the Republic of Indonesia, a country with more than 200 milion peoples, the bigest country in SEA. Its a pity. Bad Transportation with bad diciplin roder, bad city bus, bad public facility, bad attitude.

RI wants balance representation at UNSC

Indonesia wants reforms in the UN Security Council to reflect a balanced representation of the world's diverse cultures and civilizations rather than just the addition of more members, said Indonesian Foreign Minister Hassan Wirayuda on Tuesday.

"Without ensuring balanced representation, the expansion of the Security Council may result in new gaps between developed and developing countries," he said.

Among the most anticipated items on the agenda at the UN's 62nd annual General Assembly that commenced last week is the expansion of the council's membership, both for its permanent and non-permanent members.

The grand expectation for a breakthrough in reforming the Security Council that came during the 2005 UN Summit has lost its momentum and needs a boost, Hassan said.

Simply adding members based on a region would not address the criticisms of the council that suggest it works in favor of its permanent members who possess veto power, he said

"For instance, 1.3 billion people in Islamic countries are not well represented in the Security Council.

"It's about time we have democracy at the international level," he said.

Indonesia - Malaysia Relation and Psycology of The Losser

Temperature relation between Indonesia - Malaysia is raisen up. Protest anti-Malaysia is speaded up in many city in Indonesia, it is because the hitting of leader Karate coach from Indonesia Donald PL Colopita by Malaysian Police, some days ago.

Indonesia - Malaysia relation is have a long story, rais and down. In early Malaysia's history, in 1963, we have conflict and become confrontation, as Sukarno, the First President of the Republic of Indonesia says, Ganyang Malaysia. Both country send their mililtary or para-military force to line border in Kalimantan. Malaysia is hsuported by British, Australian, New Zealand and Commonwealth force by secret. Indonesia send paramilitary force to infiltrate the border line via Tawau, then Sebatik. Many people is dead in this confrontation.

Indonesia is changed, Sukarno, the Great Leader of Ravolution have to retreat.
This confrontation is ended on August 1966. Suharto became a president. Indonesia then have own conflict after 30 September tragedy, that killed 6 General. Indonesia and Malaysia met on conference in Bangkok on May 28, 1966 and signed a peace declaration on August 11, 1966.

I interest on article have writen by Azyumardi Azra, Kompas, Septenmber 5, 2007. He write, we have double standar, ambivalence attitude on seeing Malaysia. One side, we anger with Malaysia, other side we admired. This attitude, said Azyumardi, is tend to stright us as the losser, he called, Pshycology of the Losser.

Losser is Losser, we know all about the losser. The proof, thoug we know, many bad story about TKI in Malaysia, like sexual harashment, chastisement, hurted, many people is ready to go there. They need for higher money.

We have many problem that can trouble the relation of both, ones is labour problem (we call TKI). Malaysian call all Indonesian people that visited Malaysia with Indon, means kuli, labour. Its an unfair attitude, thoug, their goverment always say not to use that name on any publication or newspaper, but the use of indon is not stopping.

We are a great country, we have more people than Malaysia, so it is we have more problem, we have more resources to bring this country modern. So, its not professional if we always angry, moreover plan to sweep many malaysian who visited Indonesia. In This cases, Indonesia's Goverment have to force Malaysia to appreciate us. We have to stand up same with any other nation. Its our task. we have to study hard, work hard

Skycab, is it the Future Transport?

skycab I found a strange form car named Skycab. You'll see the picture. An strange form, like car, like train. Actually it is a bit of both. I found at frostfireseeds.com, thanks publisher.

Technically speaking it is a personal rapid transport system, a new hybrid form of transport that some have already taken to calling the podcar. Similar systems have been proposed before and failed to make it into development, despite some less-personal versions built in the 1970s in the US. But with the current desire for low-carbon transit as keen as ever, has the time finally arrived for this kind of low-emission people mover?

skycab line

"SkyCab is a new "green" intelligent transportation system. SkyCab has no drivers (automatic) and no pollution. The SkyCab Project is working in a network with international relations together with several cities, R&D institutions and an industrial group. "

skycabstat

its will be usefull to reduce air polution, and so less of carbon energy, because this machine is

The aim of the SkyCab Project is to supplement buses, (local) trains and undergrounds with a convenient, non-polluting and cost effective new innovative form of public transport, a personalized rapid transit system.

A SkyCab vehicle runs on guide ways 4 to 5 meters above ground level in a comprehensive network and it can accommodate up to four passengers on each individual journey. The system operates day and night in any weather (even snow and ice). It has no timetable restrictions and transports the passengers to their selected station without intermediate stops.
